The FABRE DC-S? was released in 1977 as the successor to the FABRE BL?. The name FABRE itself comes from the abbreviation of the basketball term, "fast break".
At the time, the FABRE DC-S? utilized cushioning and outsole construction never used before.
The new FABRE DC-S? combines elements from the original shoe and some of Japan's most popular basketball shoes today.
