A little tight. My third pair of Ecco shoes. These are a little tight and come up a little high across the top of my foot. I wore them to work for my 12 hour shift. Comfortable enough, but if I was up and running all over for 12 hours the high upper would have hurt. At first I almost returned them, but I changed to thinner socks and had not trouble. I like the clog style, easy on, easy off.
