A miss - These boots are gorgeous and would have been perfect for what I needed them for if not for one small detail. The ankle area is almost as large as the calf area, and thus the boot suffers badly from the "fat ankle syndrome". I have muscular calves so finding boots to fit is close to impossible. These fit fantastically in the calves, but the ankle looked horrible. Returning them for something else.
